Great Exhibition
of the North

Over the summer of 2018 the North of England came together to celebrate the very best of its cultural and innovative talent in an exhibition set against the backdrop of NewcastleGateshead.

Working with the team at NewcastleGateshead Initiative (NGI), we carried out several brand workshops that helped us to define a core narrative, a tone-of-voice and key messaging for the exhibition. We went on to develop branding that incorporated a strong colour and pattern coded navigation system to help guide audiences around the city as well as the #GetNorth awareness campaign, exhibition website and a comprehensive range of digital and printed advertising and marketing collateral.

We were thrilled to learn that 3.8 million visitors to NewcastleGateshead engaged with the Exhibition content.
