Gibside National Trust is one of a few surviving 18th-century designed landscapes and was created with two things in mind: spectacular vistas and maintaining a natural habitat balance.

We were delighted to be asked to create a series of interpretation panels showcasing the local wildlife within this beautiful estate. Our team produced a range of designs, that offer a glimpse into the past whilst featuring bespoke wildlife based illustrations.

Following on from the panel designs, we went on to work alongside a local artist to create a series of graphic boards for the new birdhide at Gibside. These boards used a mix of typography and the artist’s paintings to a colourful and vibrant display giving vistors information on some of the birds local to the area.

27 worked with us and local artist Katherine Rodger to create some wonderful interpretation boards for the bird hide at Gibside National Trust. They listened to our ideas and created various initial designs to choose from, which were all well done.

27 were very professional and patient with us as we tweaked the final design to create a beautiful set of interpretation boards. It was a pleasure working with them and I look forward to working with them again in the future.
